If you fail to attend the practice for an appointment you have made without sufficient notice, as per our cancellation policy you will incur a corresponding chargeable fee usually £100 per hr of surgery time wasted.
This fee will be required to be settled in advance of any future appointments being issued.
You may also be refused further appointments, or subject to additional fees e.g fees for unfitted lab work, or a pro rata rate for e.g. a visiting professional at the discretion of the practice.
We view failing to attend without good reason or prior notice (cancellation) a direct lack of consideration for other patients as well as our staff especially patients who may be in pain and whom could have availed of the appointment.
